Nepali Workers Traveling to Kuwait Must Stay in Quarantine for 14 Days

Nepalese workers traveling to Kuwait for foreign employment have to stay in quarantine for a specified 14 days.

According to the Kuwaiti government's decision, the rules apply to migrant workers traveling to Kuwait. The Kuwaiti government says it has adopted this policy to reduce corona infections. 

This rule has been in effect since Wednesday.

According to the policy, Nepalese who arrived in Kuwait after February 27 will be required to attend the Kuwait Fair Grounds for medical examination. From tomorrow, workers arriving at the airport will be taken directly to the designated quarantine.

Kuwait has also decided to stop all kinds of new visa issuing process. There are about 85,000 Nepalese working in Kuwait.
