The main city of Saudi Arabia is under lockdown, curfew on Thursday afternoon at 3pm

Saudi Arabia has lockdown in major administrative cities to prevent the spread of the Corona virus (Covid 19) infection. A curfew order has been issued on Thursday from noon until no further orders.

LOCKDOWN AREA:

  • Riyadh 
  • Mecca & Madina 

The city has been completely banned from traffic, according to international news reports. There are about 350,000 Nepalese workers in Saudi Arabia.

The Nepalese Embassy in Riyadh has urged the Nepalese community to follow the steps taken to control the Corona virus. The curfew violator will be sentenced to up to 10 rial fines and up to 20 days in jail, the embassy said.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development said that it would not be possible to give leave without the consent of the staff and workers. The Saudi press agency has stated that Saudi requested all private companies and firms to comply with labor laws.
